brantly Not a waif-ey, cry-yourself-to-sleep goth rock LP, but a driving, aggressive punk rock / death rock LP. The mandatory Rozz-era Christian Death comparison is apt, but so is a more choleric Screaming For Emily, touches of Lords of the New Church, and, in a uniquely cool way, this kind of sounds like if 'Echelons'-era For Against were a straight-up punk band instead of an ethereal post-punk band....'to the batcave Robin!'

Lost Tribe's "Solace" is an epic odyssey through the graveyard dimension of punk, drawing inspiration from early crust, 80s California deathrock, UK anarchopunk, and the more tribal side of postpunk bands like Killing Joke. "Solace" combines piercing bass lines with earthquake-like drumming, strong vocals, darkly atmospheric synths, and razor-like guitars to weave a spell of death, lamentation, destruction, and disease over the listener.
